Old Glory Sportfishing

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July celebrating what our forefathers fought for- our freedom and independence. Our group today had a good shot at the bluefin tuna, in which a lot of personal bests were broken. We found a school that really wanted to play. As soon as we shut down, the 100+ pounders were boiling all around the boat. We deployed the kite immediately and had our first take within 20 seconds. Unfortunately, it came unbuttoned. We deployed another flyer and it was consumed almost immediately. This fish took a run straight under the boat to gain its freedom. After this, the sinker rigs were getting bit and all hands were needed on deck. Some were lost, some were landed and emotions were running high. We ended the day with eight bluefin up to 150 lbs, and one yellowfin! As for gear, again we suggest a good 60-80 lb set-up.

Bluefin Tuna

We are running for sure tonight with only 10 anglers currently signed up. Join us now for some fresh air, sunshine, and a chance at a fish of a lifetime!

Tribute Sportfishing

They started biting around 0430 this morning and all of em were big. Sinker rig or a Flatfall fused on 60-100 pound test was the secret to success, anything lighter and the Big Bad Bluefin found their victory.

Another fun day today. Started out sculpin fishing and filled the bags with those before heading in shallow. Saw lots of barracuda but not a lot of them willing to bite but we did have really fun bass fishing with a lot of them being legal. And we finished it off trying to get a few yellowtails and we ended up going 1 for 8-9 on the yellowtail. Saw a lot of them just hard to land them.Yellowtail
